Psychotherapy of couples and marriages is work on rebuilding a good, healthy and satisfying relationship. It is addressed both to people in formal and informal relationships, as well as to people who are in other types of relationships – friends, relatives (e.g., mother and daughter) who want to work on their relationship. When working with couples, I create the opportunity to express your thoughts, emotions and feelings towards the partner.
During the process, you discover who you are to yourself and how your perception and experience of yourself and the other person changes. In couple psychotherapy I focus on partners as a relationship, I do not get into individual psychological problems of individual person.
Therefore, in some cases, I refer partner or both partners to individual psychotherapy.
The session lasts 75 minutes, meetings are usually held every two weeks.
I invite couples who:
- are experiencing a crisis
- have difficulties in communication
- want to rebuild their relationship after infidelity
- want to work on bond, intimacy and closeness
- want to deepen the relation in the relationship
- wonder if they want to be with each other, or if they want to break up
